Bar Dough Takeover at Pizzeria Locale
Join us for our next Takeover with a dynamic duo from Denver – Max Mackissock and Carrie Baird of Bar Dough!
Bar Dough was opened in October 2015 by Highland Tap and Burger owners Juan and Katie Padro. It is run by chef-partner Max Mackissock, formerly of Denver’s Squeaky Bean. His accolades include 5280’s Top 25 Restaurants, Eater Denver’s Chef of the Year in 2012 and again nominated in 2016, and Westword’s best new restaurants in 2016 and 2017. You may recognize Bar Dough’s executive chef Carrie Baird as a finalist from season 15 of Bravo’s Top Chef. Formerly of Colorado restaurants Rioja, Euclid Hall and Brazen, she emphasizes working with local farmers to incorporate local produce and meat in her food.
